Read more to pre-service teachers, middle and high school educators, and community college faculty interested in teaching about the Holocaust. While the conference is designed for educators with less than five years experience teaching about the Holocaust, educators with more experience are also invited to attend. Session I: Wednesday, July 7–Friday, July 9 The 2021 Belfer National Conference for Educators is free to secondary school and community college faculty interested in teaching about the Holocaust using resources from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Session III: Monday, August 2–Tuesday, August 3 The 2021 Belfer National Conference for Holocaust Education Partners is free to school administrators, curriculum coordinators, librarians, curriculum developers, CHEC partners, HITE professors, online curriculum providers, international Museum partners, or other Holocaust education partners. The Arthur and Rochelle Belfer National Conferences are made possible by a generous grant from the Arthur and Rochelle Belfer Foundation. In addition, there is guidance on sound teaching strategies and information about professional development opportunities.
