After surveying past attendees and thoughtful consideration, the AAFCO and AAPFCO Boards of Directors have decided to convene the 2020 Winter Annual Meeting virtually, with no physical footprint. In making this decision, thoughtful consideration was given to: 1) the health and safety of meeting participants, volunteers and staff; 2) the preferences of the attendees obtained through survey; and 3) a mechanism to ensure continuity of critical work of the organizations’ committees. We expect you may have questions about how this decision affects different aspects of the Annual Winter Meeting. We commit to being transparent and timely in our communication about the effects of this change. The AAPFCO staff and leadership are currently working through details to support this transition, and we will share updates as they become available.
