The use of three-dimensional (3D) cell spheroids and organoids has revolutionized the study of organ and tissue regeneration and the development of disease treatments. This project aimed to create a cost-effective human skeletal muscle 3D cell model for studying metabolic disorders. We found that varying cell culture conditions can affect the reliability of subsequent experiments. By monitoring key cell culture parameters in real-time, we can improve the quality and reproducibility of different cell-based assays. Our models utilize human primary cells, 3D organoid culture, and various types of stem cells grown on suitable bioscaffolds, including 3D skin models and organoids.
