OSA meetings are forums where the optics and photonics community comes together to exchange ideas and information. Many vision and colour researchers .. Read more have therefore pivoted to running psychophysical and psychological experiments remotely, i.e. In this webinar, we will explore principles of monitor calibration, and what methods might be used to get aspects of visual displays calibrated in the absence of a laboratory-grade spectrometer or photometer. Any researchers currently collecting, or planning to collect, data on human vision and visual perception on the internet or 'at home'. This webinar is organized by the OSA Color Technical Group and the OSA Display Technology Technical Group. Researchers have, for the first time, acquired optical coherence tomography (OCT) images of the curved layers of a person’s cornea with cell-level detail and a large viewing area. The new OCT instrument enables improved monitoring of eye diseases as well as general health conditions such as diabetes, which alter the density of nerves in the cornea.
