Project failure rates have improved in recent years, which is a good sign, however success rates still leave much to be desired. A survey from 2017 .. Read more found that 31 per cent of all UK projects are currently at risk of failure. The research indicates the key role that people-related factors play in achieving successful projects. Given that Psychology is about understanding the motivation and behaviour of people, it stands to reason that psychology must have something to offer to the discipline of project management. Sharon is a Prince2 qualified, experienced project manager and an Executive coach. Her clients include Santander, Silver Spoon, NNHS Trusts, Houses of Parliament. She is the co-convenor of the British Psychological Society, ‘Psychology of Health and Wellbeing’ group and is a board member for the Manchester Camerata orchestra.
