Agile businesses raced to adopt operational efficiencies as they transformed their infrastructure, including shifting their workloads to the cloud to support remote operations and workforce, accelerate their digitization efforts, adapt revenue streams to a contactless economy and scale online operations to better serve their customers in the new normal. However, customers also indicate that the combination of accelerated transition to cloud, remote operations and increased reliance on managed service providers inadvertently introduced security gaps that exposed organizations to a higher risk of security attacks. Given that, telecommunications businesses need to re-think their strategies to both better adopt security products to support their infrastructure availability and protect their customers' data. Chris is a Data Scientist at TELUS Communications (a Canadian national telecommunications provider), with 10 years experience in telco, and over 15 years experience with data driven decision making, ranging from Database Marketing to Decision Management. For the past 4 years Chris has been part of the Wireless Reliability team where his main focus has been on identifying useful network measures that impact our customers perception of reliability and having the data ingested into our datalake.
