Nate is originally from New Hampshire where his family owns a small dairy farm in Epping. From 2003-2008 he completed an internship, residency, and .. Read more staff position in Field Service at New Bolton Center (Penn Vet’s large animal campus). During that time he specialized in dairy, beef, and small ruminant practice. He also taught in several large animal courses for veterinary students at Penn and worked with the school’s Food Animal Club to educate students and the public about food safety and farm animal medicine. In 2009 he became board certified in food animal practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. He is the Assistant State Veterinarian at the Department of Agriculture in Concord, NH, and he also does a small amount of large animal private practice from his home in Manchester, NH. Having recently returned home to NH, Nate would like to meet as many large animal veterinarians in the area as possible – so please come up and meet him after the presentation!.
