The Wyoming Student Media Association (WSMA) is a program in Wyoming that provides journalism education and recognition for student journalists and advisors. It offers training, contests, awards, and scholarships. The association changed its name to include all forms of student media. Gabriella Paterson from Powell High School won the Wyoming Journalist of the Year award at the successful 2023 Convention. The association is looking forward to partnering with Casper College for the 2024 Convention and extends gratitude to all advisors and students for their support, hoping to see everyone at the next convention.
