CHRISTINA K. KIM, PH.D., is a Principal Investigator at the University of California, Davis. She is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Neuroscience in the Department of Neurology and an Affiliate Faculty at the Genome Center and Center for Neuroengineering & Medicine. Tina completed her AB in Molecular Biology at Princeton University and her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Stanford University under Karl Deisseroth. She received postdoctoral training with Alice Ting at Stanford and her research interests include functional and molecular profiling, protein engineering, technology development, systems neuroscience, motivated behaviors and decision making, and in vivo imaging and manipulation of neural activity.
