Women Marines Association Convention & Professional Development Symposium

My friends and I signed up for the WMA conference. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. We were not able to make it on Friday night because my friend’s plane was delayed. We showed up at 9:00 on Saturday morning. My friends and I tried to check in and they did not have our names on the roster. Whoever was at the registration desk told us to come back at 11:00? We came back at 11:00 and they could still not find our names on the list. Eventually they found our names but did not have name tags. They went to the back to print them. A half hour later, they came out with pieces of paper that they were cutting up so that they would fit into the lanyard. You could barely see our names because the printer was almost out of ink. They told us that there was nothing to do until the PX opened at 3. They also said that most of the good stuff was picked over. We left again for 2 hours and came back about 2:30.
