Read more a four-part webinar series to review the benefits and limitations of presently available medications for Alzheimer's dementia and those in various degrees of development. This session seeks to promote the importance of discontinuing medications that may worsen cognitive functions. Participants will be able to appreciate the efficacy, limitations and adverse effects of various medications available for the management of dementia. Given the potentially deleterious effects of some medications on cognitive functions, emphasis also will be placed on which medications to prescribe and which ones to discontinue. A CPD certificate with 1 CPD credit will be issued to those joining the webinar live as well as those who watch the recording afterwards. Certificates will be issued 7 days after the webinar to those who watch it live and after 30 days for those that watch the recording.
