We are facing a profound change in what a health center should be, both in its architecture, interior design, spaces and workflows, with a parametric .. Read more design, which must respond both to changes in the development of health care and in the new processes of attention and configuration of equipment and workflows. New technologies such as the development of sensors, the internet of things, Wi-Fi networks and the robotization of many of the activities, allow us greater security of medical and nursing care and a more efficient and effective control of processes and the sick. But, in addition, the experience that emerged during this coronavirus pandemic, the need to differentiate circuits and areas, the need to transform spaces according to needs, as well as the growing demands in terms of the environment, forces us to rethink and propose a new vision on the infrastructure, technology and equipment of hospitals and health centers so that they are as healthy, safe, efficient and intelligent as possible. The new hospital must be accessible and inclusive, built with healthy materials, self-sufficient capable of reducing energy demands using renewable energy. An intelligent hospital in which healthcare and management computer systems are integrated, taking advantage of the new possibilities of Big Data treatment and the application of Artificial Intelligence. A hospital designed for the robotization of activities, processes and tasks, supporting the development of medical and healthcare activities, but without losing the aesthetic demands that create a pleasant, humane, comfortable and safe environment. To talk about this we have brought together managers and directors of hospital management, and those responsible for the infrastructures, technological equipment and information systems of different Autonomous Communities, as well as doctors, nurses and patients who, after all they will be the end users of the infrastructures, technologies and information systems of hospitals and health centers.
