Data collection and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) have always been crucial in development work. In the past, paper and pen were used, leading to errors, difficulty in scalability, and high costs. However, ICT tools like mobile devices and software have made remote data collection and M&E easier. This training course teaches participants how to collect, manage, and analyze project data using mobile devices. It also includes additional modules on M&E and GIS to provide a comprehensive understanding of the skills acquired. The GIS module specifically focuses on working with spatial data.
