MASBO Annual Conference

Speakers addressed how they do things within their districts. I prefer a rules, regulations, and laws about the aspects of a finance office. Opinions on how others do it should be reserved for round table discussions. The rooms were more times than not, too small for the number of people attending. A number of the sessions were not informative at all and I came away with no more knowledge than when I went in. Session rooms were not marked all the time. I have attended MASBO for many years and this was by far the most disappointing one I've ever attended. For as much as we pay to attend the breakfast was extremely disappointing and my group is still confused by the fact we had to eat out every day for lunch. It was a rarity that we were actually able to arrive on time for the session following lunch. Overall, I was highly disappointed.
