SDGs India Impact Summit

The annual SDGs Impact Summit with the mission to curate a truly global platform of global change makers committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Summit is also one of the first major events for the Global South to take the reins on creating world-oriented solutions addressing the SDGs. The SDGs Impact Summit would be attended by 500+ global delegates across government, media, talent, civil society, academia, policy, NGOs, and corporates to spotlight India and international rule breakers, problem solvers, storytellers, thought shapers, global leaders and renegades with a cause who are committed to achieving the SDGs.

A search for the next generation of leaders committed to steering the global changes we wish to see by inventing tools and curating ideas with the potential for development for social good. An international contest to be launched inviting entrants to submit their ideas with a focus on technology. The winner then enrols into an incubator programme where their idea would be catalysed.

  • A large-scale live hackathon to be held on the 15th November
  • Problem statements to cover key sub goals of the 4 goals selected as the key themes for this year’s summit, i.e health, education, climate change and water
  • Nominations to be received till 30th October
  • Hackathon to have at least 50 startups , 35 from India and 15 from across the world
  • Hackathon to be judged by the goalkeeper committees on the day of event and 3 winners from each category get to pitch their ideas in detail to potential investors
  • The winners also to become part of the task force of the goal committees to explore potential projects and financing
