The International Gem & Jewelry Show 2025

Great event! As I purchased hundreds of dollars of gemstone items my first day on Friday, the vendors gave me free tickets 🎟 to return all weekend to enjoy more of this magnificent gem show.

Would love to see more sterling silver components for soldering and making jewelry with all the beautiful stones. It would also be great to have some demonstrations on Silver Metal Clay.

There were opportunities both for retailers and wholesale.

Only 4 wholesale vendors, where is closest other show with wholesale?

My 5th time attending the Gem and Jewelry Show at the Dulles town center in Chantilly Virginia in August 2019. I am a jeweler and usually spend about 15 to 20 k in shows like this. But this time with total horror, I realized how this show, which I used to enjoy so much, is going down the garbage shoot each time. The vendors are getting more and more rude and uncouth. Some vendors from mainland China are unspeakably argumentative and in your face, doing all kind of tricks to cheat people blind. The entire environment seemed to me it was not monitored by any authority figure or group and felt like kind of a “LAWLESS - NO MANS LAND”. I was so sorry to see the deterioration of a great attempt to bring vendors and sellers together at a market place for easy trade. After my horrifying experience this time, this definitely will be my last time attending...for sure.

It wasn't as crowded, which I liked. A few new vendors or maybe they just changed their location, anyway, I bought from them in addition to my favorites. As always, spent lots of money and enjoyed it...go figure!

Print out a list of vendors with space for notes. If you find something you like - Mark it on you list with bin #, suggest you show around before you buy. Some vendors will make a deal (some will not).

This was my first show. It was overwhelming but a great experience. I didn't understand how the wholesale baskets worked. I thought 1 basket was for all vendors until 1 vendor came up to me and rudely told said I had to leave his area with the basket

I was very unhappy that i had to pay $8 to enter, i was under the impression it was free to me and my guest. Though there was 3 of us, i was prepared to pay for one. In the end I paid for 3. Only to find out that veterans was free.

I always enjoy seeing all the different vendors ,I get great ideas for making different types of jewelry ,I was disappointed that some of the vendors I normally love to see were not there, but I still got a lot of wonderful things!

I absolutely love attending. I purchase many beads on line, but it's nothing like the experience of being able to select your beads and take them home with you.

We went on Sunday. It was disappointing to see that many vendor's did not participate in all three days and on Sunday seeing some packing up at 3:00 when the show ended at 6:00 was not professional.

We need better quality beads and more findings.It would be awesome if there were jewelry tools to purchase from company’s like Rio Grande, Cool Tools and others.Classes would be great too.

Visit booths first before you purchase. Some prices are much better than others.

I had a wonderful time. My future hisband made a purchase for my engagement ring at the second vendor we stopped at. We came, we saw, we conqured! We will definitely be back again!

Loved the show, just wish that beading supplies and already made jewelry were in separate sections instead of being all mixed up, and that you wouldn't need to show your business license to go to the wholesale section...

Loved it! I thought some benders we're over priced for what I needed, it was less exspensive on line, but then of have to wait for the product, but over all i love it.

Some vendors that were there at the last show was not there and I was looking forward to seeing them. Perhaps next time. Overall, I had a nice time. Thank you!
