Ghana International Book Fair is an annual event organized to celebrate the rich Ghanaian culture through books. The main goal behind organising the Book Fair is to bring together all Ghanaian and international book industry players to exhibit books, creativity and innovations; explore business opportunities; organise literacy programmes for students; and hold workshops for the book industry to enhance the publishing of quality books.

I am glad that there was a response to the complaint I made about the ladies toilets that had no locks. Please make sure that all facilities are checked before planned events. In addition, some books on the doors could be useful for ladies to hang their hand bags rather than put them on the floor. Thank you for a successful book fair. Please do you have any plans to hold regional book fairs? A young man travelled all the way from Bawku to attend the book fair. If we had book fairs in Tamale, Kumasi, and Takoradi, it will expose Ghana to to visitors from abroad. It would also reduce the cost of travel for teachers and school children who might benefit more from such events. Thank you. Hannah Yaawusuah Adjepong.
