The training will teach project managers how to use GIS to monitor and evaluate specific projects, document positive outcomes, increase sustainability, and find effective solutions to problems. We will also explore ways to use maps to define, measure, and display project outcomes. The training will examine how GIS can link data from multiple programs to better understand individual programs and their relationship. Spatial analysis techniques will be used to measure outcomes. Additionally, the training will cover Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) methods and the application of GIS for project monitoring and management. We will also discuss new technologies in project monitoring, such as mobile phones and participatory video, and how they support bottom-up learning and real-time M&E through ICT. Payment should be made to FineResults Research Limited before the training starts.
