MLRI: Health Care Access Programs 2024

This training aims to educate attendees about MassHealth and other subsidized health programs available to individuals under 65 in Massachusetts. The morning session will cover eligibility requirements, application and enrollment process, and recent changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The afternoon session will provide an overview of subsidized coverage from the Health Connector and offer troubleshooting tips for common eligibility and access issues. The training is suitable for outreach workers, social workers, providers, and advocates seeking an up-to-date understanding of eligibility issues and assisting patients and clients with enrollment and coverage maintenance. It is beneficial for both new and experienced advocates.
