The International Ayurveda Congress offer the scientific approach of Ayurveda as a prevention-oriented health care system. It takes its inspiration from an epic 17th-century Dutch treatise on medicinal plants of the Western Ghats of South India called Hortus Malabaricus. International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation, Netherlands; All India Ayurvedic Congress, New Delhi; and International Academy of Ayurveda, Pune organize the congress, supported by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and Embassy of India the Hague, Netherlands.
