Education is one of the most important means of empowering women. Knowledge, skills and self-confidence are necessary for women to participate in the development process. GISR Foundation believes to contribute in betterment of girls’ lives “By not giving a girl child just food but by giving her an opportunity to learn so that she can provide food to many more.” With this in mind, GISR Foundation is coming up with its new initiative ‘International Inspirational Women Awards’ to recognize and acknowledge invincible potential of women change makers. If you think you are a woman who has made an impact which deserves to earn recognition in the society, IIWA is where you need to be.
