The symposium theme is Using tools to optimize plant production and quality: exploring the system approach. Optimal crop production, crop quality, and efficient use of water and nutrients are all related to soil fertility and plant nutrition. Soil fertility status and the need for supplemental plant nutrition can be determined using soil and crop testing and fine-tuned by water, fertilizer, and manure analysis. This symposium will focus on state-of-the-art agricultural analytical testing.
