Due to the global spread of the new crown pneumonia virus, the 16th ITC originally planned to be held in September 2020 failed to be held on schedule. According to the current epidemic trend of new coronary pneumonia, it will be difficult to organize offline ITC in the next year. Therefore, the China Regional Organizing Committee (LOC) and the Asian-Occasional Thyroid Association (AOTA) have discussed the options for the 16th ITC and decided to hold it in the form of a web conference. The program has been supported by other intercontinental thyroid associations.
