The overall event for me was not successful as I'm still seeking employment in my field. But the visit was great and I enjoyed the visit very much. The location for an event like this couldn’t be better as subway access is near and many potential leads are all around us.From my observation. There were allot of job seekers and not enough employers looking to actually recruit people ready to work now. I've attended a fair amount of job fairs in my time and can only suggest for an event like this to be bigger in the near future. More business’s need to get involved. If memory serves me right, there were only 9 to 10 booths there and a good percentage were meant for pitching higher education opportunities; which is great but not for everyone. As many people were seeking actual work positions. The Hotel managed booth & Staff were the most professional here, especially when it came down to actually delivering information and overall job seeker engagement was on point. Thank you.
