"To enhance the librarian skills and practices"
The primary intention of the Texas Library Association Annual Meeting is to promote, support, and encourage library services across Texas. The theme of the annual event is Promoting Our Values; Proving Our Worth. The objectives of the conference are to help the librarian and researchers to enhance their skills and to better understand how to prepare for librarian careers in a global workforce. This annual event aims to promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation activities in the field of librarian information and communication, and to provide an environment for experts. This event will provide a forum to review issues, exchange of ideas and share experiences on the development of librarian strategies and practices.
