NCHE Conference

"National Council for History Education national conference"
Each spring, the National Council for History Education holds a national conference. When possible, NCHE chooses a conference site which parallels the anniversary of a significant event in American and World history. The national conference is a place where everyone who loves to teach and learn history can come together and share. NCHE encourages conference proposals that illustrate collaboration and history education. This year's conference will be held in Kansas City. The theme of this conference is: Reading the Past: Literature and Literacy in History. An international body of academics will address this year's conference on a diverse range of topics relevant to the teaching and learning of History.
