The New Mexico Occupational Therapy Association strives to promote the value of OT in enhancing the quality of life through occupations that promote health, recovery, and rehabilitation. Joining the association strengthens advocacy efforts, and presenting at conferences earns OTs and OTAs three times the CEUs. The association fought to update the scope of practice for OT practitioners in New Mexico.

This year's NMOTA Conference was excellent. The speakers were outstanding and I came away with many new ideas and strategies to improve my OT practice in Los Alamos Public Schools.
