Optics and Photonics for Sensing the Environment focuses on using optical sensing to monitor all aspects of the environment, from global and regional scales to point sensors and industrial processes. It will showcase optical techniques and instrumentation used in sensing and transmitting information relating to all aspects of the environment. It will bring together people from industry, university, and government to discuss sensor devices and optical techniques for air and water quality monitoring, trace gas detection, particulate and aerosol measurements, and large data set management.
