Pacific Orchid Exposition

I liked having the vendors separate from the presentations however it felt cramped into the small front area. I was there with two friends we came from totally separate areas and are not familiar with public transit so parking was a real challenge. Also signage about the enterance Was poor. I realize the staffing was all volunteer however training was thin. The examples and variety of the workers was excellent except it all felt very cramped together.

Last year was the first year at this venue. And last year was awful. This year was much better organized, and there were displays that we could see well. However, it is still SO small a space it felt way too crowded.

While not as impressive a show as when done at Fort Mason, nevertheless was able to walk away satisfied with a couple of new orchids -- which was the point of going to the show.

The Fort Mason Venue is much better. Display mixed with vendors was bad. Also, very confusing websites about which venue was the location of the show. We first went to Fort Mason, saw it empty, then went to Golden Gate Park.
