Philippine Ecotourism 101 is a comprehensive seminar that will be covering fundamental concepts and essential tools for creating community ecotourism projects. The topics include principles of ecotourism, planning tools for site selection and product development, a business model for community-based ecotourism, the role of enterprise development in sustainable management of protected areas, and many more. Case studies will also be presented.The training is mainly for tourism officers, members of committees and councils on tourism, planning and development officers, members of Protected Area Management Boards, environment and natural resources officers, as well as educators and students of tourism courses.
