Plastics in the Environment is a one-day meeting that will bring together researchers from a diverse range of disciplines (e.g. hydrology, sedimentology, geochemistry, Earth science, biology) to discuss the fate of plastics in terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments. It will also feature discussions on the sources of plastic to the Earth system, transfer of plastics across the Earth system, degradation of plastics within the Earth system, and the persistence of plastics in the sedimentary record.
