Predictive Maintenance in Energy and Plant Engineering

The goal of predictive maintenance is to save maintenance costs through flexible maintenance cycles and to minimize downtime or maximize availability, ie to optimize the efficiency of plant operation by capturing and analyzing the condition of plant components. Undesirable operating conditions and events should be forecast at an early stage in order to avoid unplanned system downtimes and to be able to plan and implement targeted maintenance measures in good time, possibly on the basis of automated recommendations.
