Folsom Renaissance Faire

Folsom Renaissance Faire is a platform to meet the Queen of England and her court, take in real jousting and full armored combat between knights, culinary delicacies, craft demonstrations, ancient music, dance, and comedy. Participate in archery and fencing. Activities for the children will include dancing, games, crafts, puppet shows, and storytelling, not to mention meeting the Queen herself. A fusion of history and fantasy to make us more accessible to our audience no matter your walk of life. A celebration of the cosplay culture. We're inviting cosplay from all genres, all time periods, all countries - anything you want to cosplay as.

Plenty of space to bring a blanket to picnic on- no outside food or drink allowed so bring a group of people so you can all take turns continually bringing food to your tribe ⚔️ Other things of note:• Access to multiple restrooms • Surprisingly affordable food and drink prices compared to other festivals • Recycling!!!!!!•Lots of People dress up so don’t be shy. •

We really enjoyed the live displays throughout the event. We wish there would have been less of a wait for the various refreshments available, but it was a nice event that at least gave us a good experience!

The event sports one-of-a-kind shows, music, and comedy, three stages of continuous entertainment, action packed shows, music, dancing, jesters, Shakespearean vignettes, expertly staged battles, storytelling for children and adults, archery and much more.
