Faculty of Eating Disorders Psychiatry Conference 2025

Some presenters appeared stand offish, e.g., not facing me when answering my question, looking at me from the corners of their eyes, rather than face on. I waited patienty to ask a lady a question, she saw me and turned away. This left me feeling dismissed, especially as I had paid good money to attend. I got the impression that questions accepted from the audience were from people known to the presenters, e.g, the audience to the speakers right complained that they couldn't get noticed let alone get questions accepted.For a 2 day conference, I feel more could have been presented. Maybe having short mini reviews, giving slightly more information than that presented would give a better overview of the topic area.Overrall good but it felt less educational than it could be. Needed more 'democracy' over how audience questions were accepted. Felt like presenters were focused on people they knew.
