Small Powertrains and Energy Systems Technology Conference

The Small Powertrain and Energy Systems Technology Conference is a platform for small engine manufacturers to discuss engine technologies, fuels, lubricants, combustion, energy sources, environmental impacts, and emissions control. In partnership with the Japanese Society of Automotive Engineers (JSAE), SAE's SETC provides a forum for global OEMs, suppliers, researchers, and engineers to explore and discuss innovative technologies in small engine and motor performance, fuel economy, energy efficiency, and reduced emissions. Jeff Matthews, Vice President of Powertrain Engineering at Polaris Inc, has a background in physics, engineering, and research in combustion and controls. Michael, who is now President of Yamaha's largest North American manufacturing site, has prior experience in the automotive sector.
