I grew up in Jonesborough. I went to church at Jonesborough Methodist and 6th grade at Jonesborough Elementary when it was on Main Street. And Jonesborough High when it was where the middle school is now. I went to a ghost story session near the grave yard at the top of the hill where the Baptist Church is Want to say in the late 70s early 80s. I moved away and lived in Jacksonville Florida for 26 years. I moved back in 2011 I work the weekends so I only get to take one weekend a quarter off. This year I dedicated my 4th quarter weekend to the 47th National Story Telling Festival and I was not disappointed and amazed how my home town of Jonesborough has grown, and become famous for a very noble reason the preservation of Stories that carry our history and heritage and help us to find common ground that seems to be missing in this day and age when we are all in our own busy and isolated lives. So proud of Jonesborough after my Festival weekend.

Picking up tickets that I purchased in advance was confusing and difficult. I had to go back three times.
