Sadly this event should be renamed the Sydney Motor Boat and Fishing show as it no longer caters for sailors.1. The few sail boats on display were of ridiculous size and expense well beyond the means of even well heeled sailors.2. Having to register to step on a boat means a lifetime of spam. If I want to check out a yacht I would like to step aboard without the hard sell.3. The exhibition hall displays ignored sailors. No smaller keel boats and no yachting gear/clothing other than one outrageously priced clothing outlet.4. Every one of my sailing colleagues who attended agreed they would not return in future.5. That's a lot of money walking away.
