Mom (89) and I (63) were looking forward to this event for its targeted message and opportunity to learn about new goods and services. Instead we felt like we was walking through the valley of death; Check your DNA to see if you have the cancer marker; Check your blood pressure to see if you are on the verge of a heart attack; Check your varicose veins; Check your hearing loss; Check, Check, Check! Seminar: Pre-planning for your funeral! When we walked by the 'Check your DNA for cancer' booth the guy was like a carnival barker (guess he figured no one could hear or see him). He got my attention and yelled, CHECK YOUR DNA FOR CANCER! and I replied/yelled back I DON'T WANT TO KNOW! I spoke to the guy at the registration table when we left and advised him that seniors today are not your grandpa/ma's seniors! We are active citizens with disposable income who will pay for things and services to help us regain our youthful looks and plenty of time to enjoy our 'retired from the rat rac
