Continuing with the theme of innovation, the VH2021 committee has decided to move away from the traditional face-to-face conference planned for Brisbane and adopt a hub model for the conference in 2021. The Brisbane and Sydney hubs will allow our community to come together to learn, connect, network, and collaborate

over the three-day conference. All three days will be live streamed, allowing delegates who are not able to attend one of the two hubs to join via a virtual platform. Other delegates will have one or two days of face-to-face interaction and networking, and then attend the remaining days virtually from their homes or offices. The Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference is run by ASHM in collaboration with key sector partners as a platform for the dissemination and presentation of new and innovative research findings and better management across the Australasian viral hepatitis sector. Through this forum we aim to support the health workforce, government and community to work towards the elimination of hepatitis B and hepatitis C and supporting the communities living with these conditions in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia and Pacific regions. This year ASHM would like to take the opportunity to recognise the vital work of our Australasian nursing professionals within the viral hepatitis sector, by nominating them for the Levinia Crooks Emerging Leaders Award 2021.
