Las Vegas Book Festival is the largest literary event in Nevada. It is a true celebration of the written, spoken, and illustrated word. For more than twenty years, the city of Las Vegas along with Nevada Humanities and numerous community sponsors have worked tirelessly to bring the joy of books, learning, and reading to Las Vegas. The festival annually attracts thousands of attendees of all ages.

I think you'd have more author booths if you lowered their price and removed the insurance requirement. The event organizer should have insurance to cover issues at any booth. This even would be even better with 25 - 30 authors. The wind storm didn't help the day. But you couldn't control that.
