The Vermilion Woollybear Festival, created by Dick Goddard, is Ohio's biggest one-day festival. Goddard's idea to use Woollybears to forecast winter led to the first festival in Birmingham in 1972. It later moved to Vermilion due to its popularity.

Exhibitor will showcase the fun-filled events when the 42nd Annual Woollybear Parade & Festival takes over Vermilion, fund raising awareness, Woollybear kids and pets riding hay wagon over 15 marching bands with nearly 2,000 musicians radio and TV personalities vintage automobiles, floats animals, festival queens clowns and much more.
