The Dallas Police Department (DPD) is proud to be a co-presenter of the Conference on Crimes Against Women. While DPD's primary goal is to prevent crime from occurring, it is also deeply committed to solving crimes after they occur. Both violent and property crimes are vigorously and thoroughly investigated by dedicated detectives assigned to both the Special Investigations and the Crimes Against Persons Divisions of the DPD.

All the sessions I attended were excellent. I did gain more insight and information regarding tactics, coercive control, and more info regarding strangulation. Also enjoyed the lunch sessions but perhaps next year there could be some snacks or sandwiches closer to the conference room or in the room if possible. Also gained a lot of information and good material for assessing clients when they come into our agency for services.
