visual analytics. Since its inception in 1990, EuroVis has evolved from the Eurographics Workshop on Visualization in Scientific Computing to its current status as a premier Eurographics Conference, with proceedings published in the Computer Graphics Forum. This conference serves as a platform for researchers and practitioners worldwide to engage in discussions surrounding the rapidly expanding field of visualization, which is increasingly crucial for data-driven decision-making and explainable AI.
The event is designed to foster collaboration among visualization researchers and industry partners, bridging the gap between academia and practical applications. The scope of EuroVis encompasses various areas of visualization, including visual analytics and explainable AI, making it a comprehensive event for those in the field. In addition to the main conference, attendees can participate in workshops such as EuroVA 2026, the 17th International Eurovis Workshop on Visual Analytics, which will run concurrently with the main event. EuroVis also emphasizes inclusivity by offering student scholarships for volunteers, enabling more presenters to showcase their innovative work. Attendees will have the chance to engage in unique activities such as a bow and arrow contest, a nod to historical practices, and an axe throwing competition, adding a fun element to the scholarly environment. EuroVis is held in the UK approximately once every ten years, making this a unique opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts in the visualization community.
