"Ayurveda, the Medicine Today"

the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference invites papers from industry professionals, academics, and researchers, encouraging submissions that provide new insights into various aspects of Ayurveda and traditional medicine. The submissions can be in the form of full papers reporting original and unpublished research, with a word limit of 1000 to 1200 words. Each presenter will be allocated 20 minutes for their presentation, including a 5-minute question-and-answer session. All submitted papers will be reviewed by eminent scholars in the respective fields.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics including but not limited to Agadtantra, Vyavahar Ayurveda, and Vidhi Vaidyaka (Toxicology and Jurisprudence), Nidan/Vikriti Vigyana (Pathology), Nadi Parkisa (Pulse Diagnosis), Svasthavritta & Yoga (personal and social hygiene including dietetics), and Charaka Samhita (a classical text of Ayurveda). Other important areas of discussion will include Kaya Chikitsa (General Medicine), Shalya Tantra (General Surgery), Shalakya Tantra (ENT, Eye, and Dentistry), and Prasuti Tantra avam Stri Roga (Gynaecology and Obstetrics). The event aims to merge traditional healthcare systems with modern technology, exploring the ethical aspects and health regulations related to traditional medicine. Furthermore, it will delve into the geographical distribution of diseases, the spiritual concepts within Ayurveda, and the role of Ayurvedic therapists. With an expected audience of 100 attendees and a notable country ranking of 18, this conference serves as a platform for sharing Sri Lanka's rich cultural and educational heritage spanning over 2500 years. Participants will also receive print certificates and proceedings post-event.
