ISME Conference

Yes, I’ve heard many inspiring ideas over the last three days. What I keep wondering is how we can turn some ideas into practices—as I am sure MacIntyre would have wanted. Rather than letting them remain as conference presentations or simply another line on a speaker’s CV, how can we translate them into action? How can we contribute to the common good and the flourishing of the communities in which we live and the institutions in which we work? That, I think, is what MacIntyre would have wanted most. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially because everything ran so smoothly and on time. My sincere thanks to the organizers for making the conference so well organized and enjoyable.
