This regulation compels manufacturers to reconsider their materials and take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of their products. The integration of sustainability within WestPack and the Sustainable Manufacturing Expo represents a significant collaborative effort among CPGs, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Contract Packagers (CPOs), contract manufacturers, and private label manufacturers. Together, they are reimagining the product design process, from inception to disposal. With an expected visitor count of 13,000 and participation from approximately 1,400 exhibitors, WestPack is not just discussing sustainability; it is actively contributing to driving change and shaping the future of packaging.
