The conference is organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bengaluru, which has been active since 2005. The branch aims to facilitate academic interactions through various research-oriented seminars, encouraging students to engage in regional conferences and workshops. This initiative has allowed students to enhance their academic knowledge and technical skills by collaborating with leading scholars and experts from India and around the world. Notably, the NMIT IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Student Branch Chapter has received significant funding from the IEEE AESS in the Asia Pacific Region, underscoring its commitment to innovation and excellence. The branch has also been recognized with prestigious awards for its outstanding contributions, further highlighting its importance in the academic community.
NMITCON allows for the presentation of full-length research contributions and review articles, which will be published in the IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed in Scopus. Topics covered include wireless sensor networks, software-defined networking, unmanned aerial vehicle communications, and various emerging multimedia applications.
